Our new eco packaging: better for the planet, better on the shelf
As Let’s Make & Do has grown, so has the way our craft kits are used, gifted and displayed. Over the past few months, we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on an update we’re really proud of: moving many of our kits into brand new eco packaging.
This wasn’t a change we made lightly. Packaging has to work hard. It needs to protect the kit, look good enough to gift, stand confidently on a shop shelf and still reflect our values as a design-led craft brand. Our new boxes do exactly that.
Thoughtfully designed, responsibly made
Our new boxes are printed in the UK on fully recycled card and are 100% recyclable and biodegradable. They’re printed using eco-friendly toners, keeping the environmental impact as low as possible without compromising on print quality or colour.
We chose to produce our packaging in the UK to reduce unnecessary transport and to work closely with trusted printers who share our commitment to quality and responsible production.
A fresh look for our craft kits
While sustainability was a key driver, this update was also about visual clarity and shelf appeal. The new eco boxes have a clean, modern look that feels intentional without being overdesigned.
They’re designed to:
Look great as a gift (no extra wrapping required, unless you want to!)
Sit confidently on retail shelves
Reflect the care and detail that goes into every kit inside

Designed with gifting and retail in mind
Many of our customers buy our kits as gifts, party activities or creative treats, and we know first impressions matter. These new boxes are display-ready and robust enough for handling in shops.
For retailers, this means packaging that doesn’t just house the product, but actively supports it: clear, attractive and practical. For customers, it means a kit that feels special the moment it’s picked up.
Made and packed in the UK
All of our kits are designed and packed in our Cheshire studio, and now our peg doll kits are packed in 100% recycled, fully recyclable and biodegradable packaging. It’s important to us that every part of the product, from the activity itself to the box it arrives in reflects the same level of care and thought.
We’ll continue refining and improving as we grow, but this packaging update feels like a big step in the right direction.
A better box, a better look, and a lighter footprint - without losing sight of what matters most: making creative play accessible, enjoyable and genuinely well designed.
We hope you love the new look as much as we do.
